fantastic location with great service!
thermal pool relaxing atmosphere helpful staff
i loved the thermal pool and sunbeds by the lake. it felt super relaxing. the breakfast was amazing and the staff at the front desk were so helpful. the service really stood out!
i had a bit of trouble getting to the hotel because of the limited traffic zone. i ended up paying for parking and walking a distance before getting instructions.

Breakfast had a good variety. The scrambled eggs and baked goods are worth a try. the restaurant offers a great dining experience with attentive service. dinner was perfect and created an lovely atmosphere.

Our room was spacious and offered a magnificent view of the lake. the rooms were kept very clean . the refrigerator was restocked daily. This was a nice addition.

underwhelming experience
sulfur smell inedible buffet
The spa reeked of sulfur. They really need to contain that smell better. also, the breakfast wasn't great. the pastries seemed old, and flies were all over the buffet. i ended up having to argue to get fresh scrambled eggs instead.

small bedroom tiny shower
the breakfast buffet was very good. the dining room had a great view over the lake.
the superior lake facing bedroom was small at 20 sq meters. the shower cubicle was awkwardly tiny, which i found unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

A Decent Stay
thermal pool attentive service small bedroom restrictive menu
The location was excellent. The thermal pool had a number of jets, and the lifeguard provided towels and moved umbrellas as needed (attentive service!).
Our lake-facing bedroom was quite small. The table d'hote menu only had two choices per course, mainly fish or beef (I found this restrictive).

sulfur smell outdated decor
My room smelled strongly of sulfur the entire time I was there, a definite downside. The spa informed me the smell was part of the experience. The hotel also has some outdated decor, especially in the hallways. The worn carpets didn't exactly scream luxury and there was peeling paint. These aspects are not something I anticipated, given its five-star rating.
